It's Eagles week!

This, of course isn't news to Cowboys fans. And you can bet your hiney that Eagles fans know it's Cowboys week for them. And where the game is being played. . . Philly.

I don't expect the Cowboys will go up there and leave with a 45-14 win. I think it'll be a very physical game. They have a good offense, but they'll be facing a defense that's gelling into what looks to be a VERY good defense. This will most definitely be a test of how good the Cowboys defense is.

As far as offense, the Cowboys will have their hands full against the Philly defense. This has all the signs of being one of those really big games. This being TO's first visit back to Philly since last year's fiasco starts this thing out as being special. Add to that the fact that both these teams are after the NFC east title. Throw in a long term rivalry, add a dash of just good old downhome hatred for each other's franchises and you've got the making of a real barn burner. The networks know this. They're sending their A Team of analysts and broadcast folks.

It would be great if the Cowboys got some help from the Packers tonight. Maybe the Green Bay guys will send the Philly team back home with a loss, aching and whining from how sore they are from the whipping they took.

I dare say though, even if that does happen, the Eagles will bring their best game to the Cowboys, anyway.

I have no predictions. I truly believe this one can go either way. The team that gets hot will win. I think it's a very close matchup, all in all. Of course, I hope the Cowboys pull it all together and get the job done.

My wish? 73-3 for a Cowboys win, of course. My expectation? Hmmm, 20-17 sounds a little more realistic. Flip a coin to see who has the 20.

Your turn to post your prediction.
